Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite famous. Her family was home-schooled by her mother within the USA. Raised with racial insults, she was being made to feel unwelcome. It was in her ninth year that she started to feel more confident after receiving a rousing ovation at an audition. Not only did it boost her confidence, but also her goals changed. At 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. When she turned 23 years old, she launched her career on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, when she was 23 her first film debut was You've got mail. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot, she played the role of Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC her role was given greater appreciation. In addition to being a popular singer, she released a solo and an extended piece. As an activist, she is a tireless advocate for LGBT equality.
