Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam and has Chinese heritage, while her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has long-standing roots in The American South. Olivia was only two when her parents separated. Her family consisted of both her mother and stepfather who was an United States Air Force member. Olivia was raised mostly within Tokyo in Japan. While the family moved out of Oklahoma and to numerous other areas however, it was the city of Tokyo that she received the bulk of her education. In that period, she took part in numerous local productions of theater and went on to become an Japanese Fashion Model. Olivia, who had been living with her parents in Los Angeles in order to achieve her dream of becoming an actor, continued to work towards her goal after the family moved back to America. After a few small parts and a few small roles, her career took off on another promising step when she was offered the character in the role of Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006) and the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She hosts "The Daily Nut" as well as"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" Podcasts on G4. After the television series Beyond the Break, she is still surfing. Her black belt is in the martial art of taekwondo. When she was two years old, her mother was remarried again and this time with a member in the US Air Force. While the family was relocated many times, the bulk of her existence was in Tokyo Japan which was the place that her stepfather was employed by the military. The University of Oklahoma is where she completed her studies in journalism, with a minor in Japanese, drama and dramatic arts.
